awesome concept and brilliantly executed! The composition bothers me a bit, I feel as though there should be a bit more sky than there currently is, and the stem should extend a little bit further

I love the concept. i think it's understandable that the focus is on the earth, and less on the sky. her ear is beautiful..i like the whole feel of the piece..

This is great. My critique for this piece is that the contrast between the earth and the sky leads the eye out of the painting. To fix this maybe darken the sky or extend the earth to the top pf the painting. The texture on it is so beautiful anyway, so it would only enhance what u have. The red color on the knees works really well.

This is what all fine art is all about, the concept. Anybody can pick up a pencil, paint brush or Wacom tablet and draw a nude, only a select few can think outside the box to produce work like this. Excellent content, great composition. It would be far out to see a whole garden filled with these.

Yeah, absolute right.
This is a perfect example where nobody think its bad that this is partially based on a photo, because the idea behind this is so strong, that the medium doesnt care .. only the result.
Not as so many times just a photocopy for its own sake and to get attention.

Wow. This is just breathtaking, technically and (for me, most importantly) conceptually. I love the skin tone...works equally well for pale human flesh and for young sprouts. Nice touch, the root-like spurs coming from the ear. This is going to be on my computer desktop for a long time.

Excellent execution of an original concept. I've read the afore critiques... If you gave it more sky it would elongate the whole composition. It is your vision. And it was done beautifully. I have seen others at my school attempt this concept. This is wonderfully done. I would like to see the tree or flower that is growing. The sky is a little week but I enjoy the over all tone.

i'm a 52 year OLD man, onlooker and very interested in learning this new art medium. Really nice piece here. i went to your site and you have a tutorial there, but i wish you had it in english. Like your work. have had a live changing year and am suffering form chronic fatigue, among other things. So haven't been able to really get started. I like the rendition of the knee areas plus that spiked ear! The skin color is very unearthly, reminds me of Brian Froud's faeries which is cold, cunning beautiful and fatal. This is a very cool bean sprout faerie girl viewed terrarium style!!!
